Russel Taib has relocated his training base to Loughborough, England, where he has now joined an elite sprints squad led by Great Britain coach and former Commonwealth Games Gold medallist Leon Baptiste. Russel is using this opportunity to enhance his development and athletics pursuits while preparing for the 2023 season ahead. Only a couple months in, Russel has been able to train with world class facility access and benefitted from having like-minded and elite level training partners.
The Loughborough High Performance Athletics Centre is home to the British Athletics National Performance Institute and Loughborough University Athletics Club, while boasting both indoor and outdoor track facilities.
